In the text, first paying homage to the triple gems, asking for pardon if committed wrong thing through body, words or mind. Then, it explains about Gopala Uposatha, which is like a cowboy, there is no much fruit of his work. With regards to Ariya Uposatha, the text discusses four types of death, saying that when a persona is dying he or she would see some certain things in her mind as marks of prediction for his/her next life. For example, if he sees red bronze he would be reborn as human; if he sees forest, he would be reborn as an animal; if he sees a worm, he would be reborn as a hungry ghost (peta). Therefore, those human beings who do not understand and realize the dhamma will be suffering in their next lives.
