Summary intro: Once up on a time in the country of Pārāṇasī, there was a rich Brahmana couple. The husband was handsome and the wife was beautiful. They were generous giving things away but their money in bank was ever decreased. Later, they had two children - a boy and a daughter. The boy was called Mahākiñcana and the daughter was called Kiñcanadevī. The couple noticed that their son, Mahākiñcana, did not seem to be enjoying with life. He looked boring. So, his father arranged for him to get married with a beautiful lady. However Mahākiñcana told his father that he did not want to get married. Instead, he wanted to renounce the worldly life and get ordained. ...
